1. Raw Materials

  • From inception, focus was to use only certified regenerative (regenagri®), organic (GOTS) & recycled cotton (GRS) as primary ingredients
  • We work with a trusted network of innovation partners to create high-quality, future-centric fiber blends
  • Blow room, carding and drawing by German technology from Truetzschler

2. Spinning

  • Saitex spinning is set up for innovative, high-quality yarns, ranging from mono to multi fiber blends.
  • Combed, slub, siro, compact, dual and triple-core yarn capabilities
  • Ring spinning technology from Toyota, Japan. Roving from Electrojet, Spain and winding from Savio, Italy.

3. Indigo

  • Only pre-reduced indigo is used for yarn dyeing
  • All indigo pre-reduction is hydrosulphite free, done on site through electrolysis in a fully automated process with Smart-Indigo™ system by Sedo where only by-product is oxygen.
  • This indigo technology reduces CO2 emissions by 90%, saves 70% energy and 30% water. It poses no health risks, no fire hazards and it leaves no harmful residues on denim fabrics.
  • Computerized nature of this pre-reduction with a direct feed into the dye bath allows for high levels of color consistency.

4. Rope Dyeing

All indigo yarn dyeing is done by German, Karl Mayer rope dyeing machine designed with fewer dye baths in order to save 25% energy and chemicals, including indigo.

5. Weaving

  • High speed precision weaving is achieved by 80 rapier looms from Picanol, Italy, coupled with knotting and drawing frames from Groz Beckert, Germany
  • All Saitex fabrics are available in wider width options in order to avoid waste during cutting process of garment manufacturing

6. Finishing

  • World-class finishing engineering solutions with singeing from Osthoff, Germany; mercerizing and pad steam from Goller, China; pad batch dyeing from Benninger, Germany; fabric tumbling from Pentek, Italy; stentering and sanforizing from Monforts, Germany
  • Future-centric, our finishing set up allows for flexibility and continuous innovation

Experimentation

Innovative Product Creation Center

  • A world-class R&D lab dedicated to garment prototyping within the fabric mil.
  • Intended for experimentation, speed to market developments and beyond.
  • The space acts as an innovation bridge between Saitex fabrics & Saitex garments, providing a one-stop shop from fabric to finished garment.

Education

Regenerative Cotton

  • Regenerative cotton takes on a holistic approach to cotton cultivation, focusing on interconnection of farming and ecological systems as a whole.
  • It merges indigenous and scientific knowledge to improve overall soil health, biodiversity, water availability and quality, animal welfare, community resilience and livelihoods.

Advantages of Vertical Integration

  • Transparency & traceability
  • Fabric designed with an intent to reduce cutting waste during garment manufacturing
  • Fabrics designed with an intent to be compatible with wash processes (optimization and savings during wash steps, easy fade face capabilities )
  • Fabrics designed for minimal shrinkage
